An early start to begin our Safari, today we traverse into the desert country on the Trans-Kalahari Highway. A reasonably long drive to Ghanzi, arrival is expected in the mid afternoon. Once we arrive we set up camp and at a set time, we embark on an educational bush walk with the real Khoi San people showing off their bush skills and giving us an in depth knowledge of their culture.

After our experience with the bushmen, we continue with the Safari from Ghanzi to to the gateway into the Okavango Delta, the town of Maun. Centrally located and used as the onset point for many Safaris in Botswana, Maun is perfectly positioned for adventures into Okavango as well as the famous Botswana National Parks.

We head into the Water Wonderland of Botswana. Whilst here we are embarking on Mokoro cruises and nature walks to give you the full perspective of Okavango Delta. Our chosen camp is deep in the heart of Okavango Delta. Transfer in is by car then Mokoro to reach our next overnight retreat.

A full day to appreciate this magical Waterworld, we explore the Delta on foot as well to learn about the ways the local people have survived for centuries using herbs for medication and living with the wildlife.

Waking up with the sunrise, this morning we leave Okavango to head back to the town of Maun. Arrival is expected in the midday and we prepare for the upcoming days in the national parks, stocking up on our necessities and then relax. For this afternoon we highly recommend the flight over the Delta to get a complete picture of Okavango. Price is around +/- $150 per person for a 1hour flight over the Delta with an aeroplane or helicopter.

This morning, we pack up and headed  for the next few nights of camping in the wilderness of the famous Botswana parks. Today, we headed for Moremi Game Reserve, expecting to enter by midday and heading straight to set up camp. Once it cooled down, we embark on a late afternoon game drive in search of the wildlife that makes Moremi world-famous. After sunset, we return to our allocated overnight campsite.

“An early morning today as we head out for a game drive. Our aim is to catch the predators still active, in the morning light, for those great photographic moments. After our morning excursion, we return to camp to pack up and drive through Moremi Game Reserve. We will exit the park to stay in Khwai Conservancy. This area is a haven for animals, as they all congregate around the perennial Khwai River.”

Full day exploration of the Khwai conservancy with an extensive morning game drive and later on we enjoy an late afternoon/sunset game drive.

After our experience here, we are heading up north to enter Chobe National Park. Today, we aim to drive past the Savuti Marsh en route to Savuti, which is a part of the Chobe National Park, where we will be camping for our last night in the wilderness. Big game roams this place, and it is largely renowned for its large pride of lions. We aim to be well settled in the campsite by afternoon so that we can go for an evening game drive.

This morning we pack up our camp and drive through the Chobe National Park further to the north. We exit at the northern gates to drive into Kasane.

This afternoon we will be enjoying a boat cruise, as we visit the park via the mighty Chobe River. Huge numbers of animals like crocodile and hippopotamus are residents here and others like elephants, buffalo and even lions frequent parts of the river to drink water and cool down. We return to the lodge soon after our cruise.

Today we have a relaxed morning as set off to travel to the neighboring Zimbabwe to visit the majestic Victoria Falls.

We spend a full day exploring the town of Victoria Falls as well as embarking on the numerous adventure activities on offer.

Leaving the falls behind, today we head back across the border to finish off our Safari. We travel through the Zambezi National Park as well as the Pandamatenga wildlife area before reaching our destination and retreat for tonight the Elephant Sands.

This unique place is home to hundreds of elephants which rely on the waterholes of the reserve. A beautiful experience with the gentle giants of Africa is expected for this night.

A relaxed morning as we say farewell to the gentle giants of Africa, today we set off southwards for Nata. Visiting the Nata Bird Sanctuary before continuing to Planet Baobab.
Our camp for tonight is well situated for a visit to view the ancient lakes which have now become dry salt lakes in the middle of the Kalahari. Also famous here is doing a tour of the Makgadikgadi Pans and hopefully see the meerkat.

From the pans we traverse through part of central Botswana to visit our last retreat on Safari, the Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros, restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state and provide economic benefits to the local Botswana community through tourism and the sustainable use of natural resources.
Covering approximately, 8585 hectares of Kalahari Sandveld, the sanctuary provides prime habitat for white and black rhino as well as over 30 other animal species and more than 230 species of birds.

We aim to arrive in good time to enjoy an evening game drive and sunset to round up a perfect Safari.

This morning we have an optional excursion to either do a walk with the wildlife along with rangers or do an early morning game drive. Once the excursion is done, we return camp before we set off to head to our final destination for the tour back in the bustling city of Gaborone.
