We will take the time to visit the ancient temples, churches, and other significant sites in Kampala to learn about the deep history of Uganda.

As the day progresses, we will have an early lunch at a local restaurant to taste the best of the local cuisine before heading out of the capital to reach the ZIWA Rhino Sanctuary in time to settle in and relax for the evening.

Included highlights of the trip are a motorbike tour in the City of Kampala and visits to the temples.

Waking up early this morning, we took part in a Rhino Trekking excursion. Walking right next to these endangered species gave us a unique sense of excitement but also a responsibility to take care of nature. Our resident guides went out of their way to ensure that we got the best experience on the excursion.

Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Sanctuary is a private, non-profit animal sanctuary in Uganda. It was established in 2005 to re-introduce Southern White Rhinos in the wild. The sanctuary is the only place in the country where one can observe these endangered creatures in the wild. Soon after our activity, we continued with the adventure to Murchison Falls National Park.
